1st Liss Scout Group is currently running three thriving sections at Beaver, Cub and Scout levels and all sections accept both boys and girls into their ranks.

Both the Cub and Scout sections run successful annual summer camps; Plans are well underway for a camp in Switzerland in 2002.
The Group has a strong and friendly committee that works hard to raise the enormous amounts of cash that is required to run an active Group. The annual Liss Village Carnival (in June) is the main fund-raiser for the Group and it also enables other groups and clubs to raise money towards their funds.
The Group has entered into a joint venture with the Village Junior School to purchase and run a mini-bus for the benefit of all youth groups in the area. Years of hard work came to fruition on 7th May 2001 when delivery of a shiny new bus was taken!
The current subscription rate is just £16 per term - jolly good value for such a jolly good Group.
